The story of Zlatara Andrejević
When Belgrade jeweller Andreja Andrejević had a son, Kosta, he was delighted that one day he would have someone to pass his art and jewellery workshop on to. He himself was introduced to the secrets of jewellery making before the Second World War by the famous Stojan Oreščanin, at that time one of the most prominent jewellers in the Balkans. What began in the privacy of jewellers' workshops in pre-war Belgrade grew into a tradition that is measured not in carats, but in years of dedicated work.
